Engineering Activities to STOP the Panic Attack!

Each group needs:
- a laptop computer
- lined paper or lab notebook to record data
- a writing utensil
- a stopwatch (can be a cell phone)
- a micro:bit and pulse sensor
- USB cord
- 3 alligator clamps or alternative wiring method
- affordable alternative to the micro:bit and pulse sensor: oximeter, (not as FUN!)
- ice and scoops for ice
- containers of water (1L glass bottles work great)
- footbath/small plastic tubs
- towels/paper towels
- Assessment #1: Pre/Post Quiz (one for each student)
- Assessment #2: Pre-Lab: Interpreting Diagrams (1 per student)
- Assessment #3: EDP Worksheet (1 per student)
- Assessment #4: Applied Knowledge (1 per student)
- Assessment #5: Making Sense (1 per student)
For the entire class to share:
- whiteboard
- dry erase markers
