Viscosity: The Flow of Milk

Each group needs:

• 1 2-ml column
• 5 test tubes
• 5 prepared samples of milk in beakers

1. skim milk (non-fat)
2. 1% milk (low-fat)
3. 2% milk (reduced-fat)
4. heavy cream
5. whole milk (control sample)

• 1 funnel or pipette
• 1 timer
• 1 beaker/bowl (to collect the liquid)
• markers or colored pencils
