• 1 medium-sized box, ~15 L x 11 W x 7-inches H (38 x 28 x 18 cm); best if the box height is less than its width and length
• 5 feet (1.5 m) of string
• scissors
• ruler
• tape
• Bottom of Box Map, one per group
• Measurement Data Recording Sheet, one per person
