> Home> January 2009 Workshop> Registration

To attend this workshop, please complete four separate items:

1. Register by emailing us an RSVP

By November 21, please email Myrna.Raitz@Colorado.edu  or call (303.492.7222) with the names of the one or two people who will attend from your grant.

There is no fee for attending this workshop.

2. Make your hotel and airline reservations

Purchase your airline tickets - and keep your receipt.

Click on the Hotel Info link (left side of this page) for information on the recommended hotel and special room rate for attendees.

Click on the Travel Info for suggested transportation providers and reimbursement procedure. We will reimburse up to $1,200 in travel expenses for one or two attendees from your grant. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Monday, as well as breakfast on Tuesday. Once in Boulder, bus service is clean, safe and frequent - you really won't need a rental car, and it's a five-minute bus ride (or a nice 1.1 mile walk!) from the hotel to our conference site on campus. And, Boulder is casual - feel free to leave those heels and ties at home.

3. Gather sample K-12 engineering curricula

If you have K-12 engineering curricula, please gather and bring those files on your laptop for use at the workshop. If you do not have a laptop or curriculum, we can provide some for use during the workshop.

4. Do you need to borrow a laptop?

We have a limited supply of laptops so please bring your own if you can. If you need to borrow a laptop for the workshop, please email Myrna.Raitz@Colorado.edu.

If you have any other questions, please email Denise.Carlson@colorado.edu . We look forward to seeing you in January
